Thank you for taking the time to check out my web site. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Clive, I'm 32 years young, and I am a computer programmer currently living in North Lincolnshire in the United Kingdom with my girlfriend Clare, her son Ashley, our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks Charlie and little (well not so little any more) Ted and a pond full of Japanese Koi (Clare's hobby).
I have been playing around with PHP and MySQL for about a year now and thought it about time I put together a website for my self demonstrating my skills with my new found fun. I have therefore dedicated this web site to the antics I will be getting up to with PHP and MySQL now, and in the very near future. I have so many ideas and plans that I just don't know where to start!?! Well I guess I do as I have started this web site

I've done it, I've updated both the Blog and Guestbook scripts to now include CAPTCHA protection

I've at last got round to updating the guestbook script so that each new entry now has a status associated with it, in order to put a stop the spam entries I keep getting. By default all new entries in the guestbook will be given an "unpublished" status and will not be visible until I have set that status to "published".
I've also added the extra feature where an email will sent to me when a new guestbook entry is made

New Toy - iPod Nano

It's Saturday afternoon and I have spent most of the day converting CD's from my collection in to MP3 format and transferring them to my new toy - an Apple iPod Nano (Black). It's an early birthday present from Clare
